Thieves Make Off With Two Snowblowers

Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon police are investigating the theft of two Husqvarna snowblowers from in front of a Sheldon business.

Authorities tell us that sometime between 6:00 Saturday evening (January 20th) and 8:00 Monday morning someone cut the cable securing the two snowblowers in front of Sheldon Power & Equipment.

Stolen, according to Sheldon Police was a Husqvarna ST230P 30-inch, dual stage snowblower with a 291cc engine, 10-horsepower with power steering, heated handles, LED lights, and 16-inch tires. This snowblower has a retail value of $1,199.

Also stolen was a Husqvarna ST224P dual stage snowblower, with a 208cc engine, 7.5 horsepower with electric start, power steering, heated handles, LED lights and 15-inch tires. This snowblower has a retail value of $899.

Total value of the two Husqvarna snowblowers is $2,098.
