Sioux Center, Iowa — A Sioux Center man’s vehicle rolled into a creek on Thursday, January 28th near Sioux Center.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 5:56 am, 24-year-old Jonathan Chausse of Sioux Center was driving a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue eastbound on 400th Street, four miles north of Orange City. According to the report, Chausse lost control of the vehicle and entered the south ditch. The vehicle rolled onto its top, coming to rest in a creek.
The Oldsmobile received $6000 damage.
No injuries were reported
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Orange City Fire Department, Orange City Ambulance and Orange City Police Department.
