Klondike, Iowa — An Inwood woman and her passengers were taken to a hospital after an accident last week.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 1:25 a.m. on Thursday, a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup driven by Marlo Arp from Inwood, was eastbound on A-26, one mile east of Klondike when it lost traction on the icy roadway and entered the north ditch where it rolled before coming to rest on the driver’s side.
The Sheriff’s Office says Arp and her three minor passengers were all taken by ambulance to Canton/Inwood Hospital. Their injuries were described as minor.
The pickup was considered a total loss.
Deputies say they were assisted on the scene by the Larchwood Fire and Rescue and by the Lyon County Ambulance Squad.
