Primghar, Iowa — An Algona teen was taken to the hospital after an accident near Primghar on Thursday, February 6, 2020.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 9:55 p.m., 23-year-old Joseph Schossow of Manson was driving a 2002 GMC SUV westbound on B40, three miles west of Primghar, when, due to the snow-covered roadway, he lost control and the SUV entered the south ditch backwards, rolling onto its passenger side.
The Primghar Ambulance took a passenger in the Schossow vehicle, 18-year-old Caitlyn Peterson of Algona, to Mercy One – Primghar Hospital.
Schossow’s GMC sustained about $3700 in damages.
