Boyden Area Accident Sends Man To Hospital

Boyden, Iowa — A Boyden man was taken to the hospital after an accident on Sunday near Boyden.

According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, at about 12:40 p.m., 22-year-old Noah Rolfs of Boyden was driving a 2009 Nissan Altima southbound on Kingbird Avenue about a mile southeast of Boyden, when he lost control of the vehicle, which entered the west ditch and rolled.

The Boyden Ambulance took Rolfs to Sanford Sheldon Medical Center.

Damage to the Nissan was estimated at $10,000.

The sheriff’s office reports that the Boyden Fire Department and Boyden Ambulance Squad assisted them with the response to the accident.
