Sibley Resident Runs Into Deer

deer-gravelSibley, Iowa — A Sibley resident struck a deer with her vehicle on Sunday, November 8th southeast of Sibley.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 6:30 pm, 36-year-old Brin Andrew Monier of Sibley was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer registered to Jerry Monier of Sibley, westbound on 180th Street, west of Pierce Avenue. According to the report, a deer ran onto the roadway and the Explorer struck the deer on the roadway with its front end.

The Ford received $4500 damage.

No injuries were reported.
