Sheldon, Iowa — The annual combined fundraiser in Sheldon is underway for another year.
Board members with the Sheldon United Fund drive tell us the fundraising effort started today and will run through December 31st.
They tell us the goal this year is $30,000. The United Fund will be assisting 22 different organizations within Sheldon and the surrounding communities.
You can give to all of the organizations or select which ones you want your donation to go to. Explanations of the organizations are available where you can drop off your donations — four of the banks in Sheldon — Citizens State Bank, Iowa State Bank, Peoples Bank, or Security National Bank.
Or you can send your donations to PO Box 41, Sheldon, Iowa 51201. The board members say thank you for your support.
