Sibley, Iowa — It’s almost time to open the “new” $2.6 million Osceola County Aquatic Center in Sibley.
Sibley City Administrator Glenn Anderson tells us they’re making their final preparations and doing their final checks.
Anderson says that June 8th opening date is during their Good Old Summertime festival and celebration in Sibley.
He says people are going to think it’s a whole new pool, but he says it IS a renovation.
Anderson says that anytime you see guards or staff around the pool and you’d like a tour, just ask. He says that he really wants to thank Cory Dykstra and the water department, but all City departments sacrificed and did a great job helping out to get the pool ready. Again, it opens on June 8th.
