Sheldon, Iowa — Another scam is afoot, this time it was attempted on a Sheldon business.
According to the SCDC, one of their members received an invoice via email that claimed to be from Norton 360. However, the merchant says nothing was ever purchased from Norton 360, so they didn’t take action on the invoice.
You’re advised that, if you should receive a similar email, please be cautious. Once you send off your hard-earned money to scammers it’s all but impossible to get your money back.
There have been a lot of scams going around lately, so please be careful with any suspicious emails, phone calls, etc. from people trying to reach into your wallet.
