Northwest Iowa — After the heat and humidity that visited us in July, the milder temperatures of the past few days have been a welcome relief.
Andrew Kalin of the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls tells us that August will see more of the cooler temperatures…at least for a couple of weeks.
As for precipitation……………………………….
Kalin reminds us that, since weather patterns and systems sometimes do unexpected things, meteorologists are less confident in long-term predictions than in short-term.
