Sheldon, Iowa — With the first day of school still more than a week away for Sheldon Community School students, the Sheldon Ministerial Association is holding a Back To School Prayer Event this Wednesday (August 17th) at the Sheldon Community High School.
Pastor Craig Nissen, of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheldon, tells us a little about the event.
Wednesday’s Back To School Prayer Event is the second annual event, and Nissen tells us how it came about.
Pastor Nissen gives us a rundown of Wednesday evening’s agenda.
He says the evening’s main speaker has an interesting alter-ego.
Nissen says the evening begins with a light meal.
Pastor Nissen says Wednesday’s Back To School Prayer Event begins at 5:30 in the Sheldon High School Commons, for supper, before moving into the High School Auditorium. The event is open to the public, and a free will donation will be accepted.
