Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon’s Crossroads Pavilion Event Center is scheduled for completion later this year. As the center moves closer to completion, the City has empaneled a Board to oversee operation of the event center, and a General Manager for the Crossroads Pavilion began her duties in Sheldon last week.
Brittany Behrendsen is the Crossroads Pavilion Manager, and she tells KIWA that construction on the facility is coming along nicely.
Behrendsen says she was raised in small-town Iowa, graduating from Iowa State University.
She says she wanted to leave the hustle and bustle of the big city, and move back closer to family.
Behrendsen says she’s very excited to be in Sheldon, and looks forward to the opening of the Crossroads Pavilion.
The new Crossroads Pavilion Event Center is located in the Sheldon Crossing area, south of Highway 18, next to Highway 60, in eastern Sheldon.
