Sheldon, Iowa — Republicans from a six-county region of northwest Iowa will be on hand for a major fundraising event Saturday night (October 29th) at the Lifelong Learning and Rec Center on the campus of Northwest Iowa Community College.

The major speaker at the rally will be former US Army Ranger Kris “Tanto” Paronto.  Iowa State Republican Party Co-Chair, Dr. Cody Hoefert says Paronto will be telling the story of what really went on in Benghazi that fateful night.

Hoefert says he doesn’t think Paronto will point the finger of blame for Benghazi at anyone specific.

In addition to Paronto, Hoefert says there will be some Republican heavyweights on hand for Saturday night’s rally, as well.

Hoefert says he is very proud of the six counties that are coming together for what promises to be the largest Republican rally in Iowa.

Hoefert says you can still get tickets, online, at eventbrite.com.  He says there will also be some tickets available at the door.

Doors for the event will open Saturday evening at 5:45 pm, with a VIP reception at 6:15, and the main event at 7:15 at the LLRC, located on the northeast part of the campus at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon.
