Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon business and professional people gathered at Bliss Salon and Spa on Sheldon’s east side Friday afternoon to cut the ribbon on their newly renovated spa.
Sheldon Development Director Curt Strouth spoke to the group on behalf of the City of Sheldon and the Sheldon Chamber & Development Corporation, and thanked Bliss for their investment in the Sheldon community.
Sheldon Chamber Director Shantel Oostra echoed Strouth’s sentiments.
Sheldon Ambassadors Club President Skip Tanner presented Bliss owners Sara and Jeff Van Meeteren with a plaque containing a portion of the ribbon from Friday’s ribbon cutting.

Bliss Salon & Spa is located across the street west of Peoples Bank in Sheldon. They’re open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 am to 9 pm, Wednesday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm,
