Blood Bank Could Use Your Donations At Sibley Blood Drive After Cold Weather Canceled Other Drives

Sibley, Iowa — Your next chance to help bolster the blood supply is this Thursday in Sibley. And Community Blood Bank Executive Director Ken VerSteeg says after the recent trip through the deep freeze, your blood donation is needed even more than usual.

He says if you’re the type of donor who only gives once a year or so, they’d request that you give blood at this drive to help them “catch up.”

He says a “critical blood shortage” is a supply of less than 24-hours-worth. He tells us how to make a donation appointment.

That number again is 712-754-5358.
