Sheldon, Iowa — A longtime employee of Village Northwest Unlimited has been honored with the outstanding staff member of the year award.
Bob Riemersma has been honored with the award. VNU officials say the Outstanding Staff of the Year Award is the highest honor awarded to a staff member. VNU Director of Human Resources Brian Robyn says recipients are nominated by their peers for this annual award.
Robyn tells us a little about Riemersma.
According to Robyn, in their nominations, other staff members said a lot of nice things about Riemersma, and he reads a few of them for us.
Robyn says Riemersma received the award during the annual VNU Staff Christmas Party.
