Southeast Osceola County, Iowa — A location that almost turned into a town years ago will have the first business to locate there since the last one left in the late 1970s or early 80s. In fact, that’s its name — “Business Corner.”
Nick Shaffer, who is building a building on Business Corner tells us it’s actually pretty close to May City — being a mile east and a half a mile north of May City.
He tells us that older people from around the area told him about the last business located there.
Shaffer tells us about his business.
He says the business sells mostly agriculture, commercial truck, and power sports items.
You heard that right. He did say he offers 20-thousand different products.
According to Shaffer, he hopes to have the building up soon with an open house planned after harvest this fall. For more information, you can call him at 712-348-3340.
