Sheldon, Iowa — This is a busy weekend for the Sheldon Chamber & Development Corporation. It all started Thursday, with their hugely successful Ladies Day Out event at the Sheldon Community Services Center.
Sheldon Chamber Director Shanelle Matus says they were exceited to have 185 ladies attend the event.
The Ladies Day Out event included a Style Show, Door Prizes, and entertainment, along with the luncheon.
Without missing a beat, the SCDC has transitioned from Thursday’s Ladies Day Out, to the 24th Annual Golden Easter Egg Hunt that kicked off with the first clue Friday morning.
Matus says to find the Golden Easter Egg you really need to look at, and ponder, the clues.
If the egg is found before Monday, the winner will receive $750 in Sheldon Dollars. Beginning Monday, the prize will go down $50 each day until the egg is found.
The only bad news is, if you’ve been the Golden Easter Egg Winner in the past 5 years, you’re ineligible this year.
