Celebration Days Unity Service Draws Record Crowd

Sheldon, Iowa — As part of Sheldon Celebration Days this past weekend, the Sheldon Ministerial Association held a Community Unity Service, Sunday morning at the RiseFest grounds in northeastern Sheldon.

Sheldon Ministerial Association President Pastor Ken Snyder tells KIWA that more than 750 people attended the service, with hundreds more listening on KIWA-FM Radio, or viewing it on KIWA’s Facebook page.

This past weekend’s Unity Service was the second time the event was held on the Harvest Stage at the RiseFest Grounds. In 2021 the service drew about 625 people to the RiseFest grounds, compared to more than 750 people this year. Pastor Snyder tells KIWA the Ministerial Association was excited by the number of people in attendance, and hope to see the numbers increase each year.
