Northwest Iowa — Clouds will increase today as a weather system moves in from the northwest.
By the afternoon into the evening, light snow is likely and will last into Friday morning. Accumulations will generally be an inch or less, but a couple places east of I-29 could see a couple inches. After a cool Friday, temperatures warm slightly on Saturday ahead of the next system, which will bring more snow to areas north of I-90 Saturday evening into Sunday. Several inches of accumulation are possible, with gusty north winds after snow ends on Sunday.
