Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon City Council will take the next steps toward hiring a new City Manager when they meet in special session this Wednesday September 12th. Council members will go into closed session at that time to discuss the applications that have been received. Following the closed session, the meeting will continue in open session to discuss authorizing the City’s consultants to offer interviews to certain candidates. Interviews will then be planned, most likely for the weekend of October 5th and 6th.
Wednesday’s meeting will begin at 4:30 in the upper level of the Sheldon Community Services Center.
