Clean-Up Days Start Monday

Sheldon, Iowa — If you live west of Washington Avenue in Sheldon, this coming Monday, April 30th, is the start of Sheldon Clean-Up Days for you.

Residents west of Washington Avenue who purchased their flag from the City Office prior to the deadline of 3:00 pm Friday (April 27th) will have their discarded items picked up beginning Monday. The City says items must be placed curb side by 7:00 Monday morning. They say NO items will be picked up in the alleys. According to the City of Sheldon, once the city crews go past your house, you will not be allowed to deposit more items.

For residents who live east of Washington Avenue, you’ll need to get your flag at the City Office by 3:00 pm next Friday, May 4th. Pickup for residences east of Washington Avenue will begin Monday, May 7th.
