Sheldon, Iowa — This Thursday, May 10th, is the Annual Sheldon City-Wide Clean-Up Day for 2018.
The SCDC Marketing Committee spearheads this project each year, and Heidi Brown of the Marketing Committee tells us about it.
She tells us that many groups will actually be going out at that time.
Brown says if that day and time don’t work for you they still need your help.
She says that their most pressing need at this time is for people to adopt sections of the recreational trail.
She also encourages business owners and managers to clean up around their businesses. She says maybe clean up trash along the sidewalk or in landscaping. Homeowners are encouraged to clean up around their property as well.
