Community Blood Bank Bloodmobile Coming To Sheldon Wednesday

Sheldon, Iowa — If you’ve ever wanted to be a hero, your chance will arrive later this week.

The Community Blood Bank Bloodmobile will be making a stop in Sheldon later this week, according to Ken Versteeg, the Executive Director of the Community Blood Bank.

Versteeg says they’ve been seeing a decline in donations, cue to cold and flu season.

He reminds us that the Community Blood Bank provides ALL the blood used at Sanford Sheldon, so donations are important.  You can be a hero by donating blood Wednesday, because each donation of blood can save up to three lives.

Once again the Community Blood Bank Bloodmobile will be at Northwest Iowa Community College on Wednesday from 9:00 to 12:30 and 2:00 to 4:00, with registration in the Lobby of Building “A” on the NCC Campus.
