Cooperative Energy To Take Over Blue Line Travel Center In Worthington

Sibley, Iowa — The company behind Jackrabbit Junction in Sibley and Boji Junction in Milford is in the process of another acquisition.

According to Cooperative Energy officials, they are in the process of taking over Blue Line Travel Center in Worthington, Minnesota. Company officials say they are excited to be adding a new store to their ever-growing company.

The new location will be called “Blue Line Junction.” Company officials tell us they will be changing over on December 29th and will be closed from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day making updates to the c-stores, signage, and pumps. But they tell us the Blue Line’s restaurant will NOT be shut down.

They say Blue Line Junction will be the seventh convenience store added to the Cooperative Energy Company family. The others are Jackrabbit Junction in Sibley; Boji Junction in Milford; Interstate Cenex in Worthington; Hartley Junction in Hartley; Junction 86 in Lakefield, Minnesota; and Wildkat Junction in Larchwood.

Cooperative Energy also has service centers in Sibley, Rock Rapids, Hartley, George, and Lakefield; and cardtrol pumps in Ashton; Ellsworth, Minnesota; Fulda, Minnesota; Harris; Hartley; Lake Park; Little Rock; Melvin; Ocheyedan; George; Rock Rapids; Rushmore, Minnesota; and Spencer.
