Hawarden, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help to solve a burglary case.
They report that on Sunday evening, they investigated a burglary that occurred at a farm property on 490th Street, four miles south of Hawarden.
Upon further investigation, deputies believe that the perpetrator or perpetrators entered onto the property and stole a chainsaw, Nipco brand heater, battery charger, a pair of Yamaha paddle tires and two log chains from a storage building.
Deputies believe the crime likely occurred sometime between Friday, March 4 and Sunday, March 6.
