Dinner And Auction Planned To Benefit St. Pat’s School

Sheldon, Iowa — A fundraising supper and auction is coming up to raise funds for a local school, and you are invited to help out.

St. Patrick’s School in Sheldon is holding the supper and auction at the Eagles’ Club in Sheldon in March. We had a chance to talk to one of the people organizing and promoting the event — St. Patrick’s teacher Caleb Sterner. He tells us what’s planned.

Sterner tells us about the cost of your supper (catered by Old 60 Steaks and Chops) and the auction.

He says they’re accepting donations for the auction until March 1st. At this time, items range from tickets to a NASCAR race or a Kenny Chesney concert to jewelry, getaways, and more.

The Pot O’ Gold Dinner and Auction is the main fundraiser for St. Patrick’s School.

Again, your evening on Saturday, March 9th will begin at 5:30 with a social hour followed by a sit-down meal including a steak or pork chop at 6:30. The live auction will begin at 7:30 with a variety of items. Tickets are $50 each and can be reserved by calling the school office at 712-324-3181.
