Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Police Department is currently accepting donations for their 2016 Shop With A Cop program.
Shop With A Cop is a program that helps kids in the community get the supplies they need for back to school. Sheldon Police Officer Jett Korver tells us more.
Officer Korver says the actual shopping trip takes place later this summer.
He says the program is funded through donations, and your donations are very much appreciated.
Korver says the applications for the program are reviewed by Love INC.
He says that donations are being accepted now, and that they would like to have donations in within the next few weeks so they know how much they have to work with for this year’s program.
