Ashton, Iowa — Emergency responders are better prepared for a real emergency after a drill this past weekend in Ashton.

According to Osceola County Emergency Management Director Dan Bechler, the drill was at Poet Biorefining, just south of Ashton.

Bechler tells us why they do drills like this.

Bechler tells us that Poet employees played the part of victims in the exercise on Saturday, November 6th, 2021.
