Final United Fund Numbers Exceed Goal By More Than 25%

Sheldon, Iowa — All the checks have been received in the mail and the final total for the 2020 Sheldon United Fund campaign surpassed their original $30,000 goal by more than 25-percent.

Sheldon United Fund officials say the final total for the drive was $38,004, shattering the organization’s goal of $30,000. Organizers say $3,852 of that total came in since January 1st.

United Fund Board Members are thrilled with the total, especially in a year when so many have experienced hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Board members say they are very grateful for all the support from businesses and individuals from Sheldon and the surrounding area. They recognize that they could never have achieved this dollar amount without your help.

The 2020 Sheldon United United Fund benefits twenty-five non-profit organizations from Sheldon and surrounding communities.
