Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon Firefighters were called to the Courtyard Fitness Center in Sheldon early Monday afternoon to the report of a smoke smell.
Sheldon Assistant Fire Chief Randy Harms tells KIWA that the cause of the smoke smell was determined to have come from a bad air handler unit, and that there was no fire.
Fire units returned to the fire station after about 40 minutes on scene, according to Harms.
