Fireworks Ordinances For Each Town In O’Brien County

O’Brien County, Iowa — With the July 4th holiday weekend upon us, the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office has collected information on the fireworks ordinances for each community in O’Brien County.

In addition, the Sheriff’s Office has included a copy of the Iowa State law that details what is permitted in areas not covered by a city ordinance, and provided a description of what is considered Consumer Fireworks.

O’Brien County Sheriff Allen Schuknecht urges people to review the fireworks safety rules, so that your Independence Day celebration doesn’t include a trip to the emergency room.
