Fundraisers Planned To Support Organization That Helps Disabled Kids

Pizza Ranch LifescapeUPDATE: The Community Impact Night has been postponed to Monday, January 30th, 2017, due to weather.

***********************************************

Original Story:

Sheldon, Iowa — A Sioux Falls organization that provides services for children and adults with disabilities in the four-state area is supported in-part by a group of northwest Iowans, and your chance to help is coming up.

Angela Palmer of Sheldon tells us about LifeScape.

She tells us about two Sheldon residents who receive help from LifeScape.

Palmer says LifeScape provides for almost 3000 students and adults.

She says that similar to the Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society, groups that support Lifescape have smaller fundraising events in anticipation of their big event, the MallWalk at the Empire Mall in Sioux Falls, which this year is Saturday, February 4th.

She says they’ve got a couple of smaller local fundraisers planned, including one at the Sheldon Pizza Ranch.

AGAIN, THIS HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO JANUARY 30TH.
Palmer says the Knights of Columbus will also be doing a pancake fundraiser for Iowa Cares For Lifescape in February, so be watching for the details of that.
