Good Crowd On Hand For Day #1 Of Job Fair At NCC

Sheldon, Iowa — Northwest Iowa Community College, KIWA Radio, and Iowa Workforce Development are hosting a two-day Job Fair that began Tuesday morning at NCC.

According to Lesa Stofferan of NCC about 48 employers from around the area were manning their booths at the Tuesday edition of the Job Fair. Tuesday’s employers are showcasing the jobs that are available in the Applied Technology field.

Stofferan says there was a good crowd on hand for Tuesday’s session.

The Job Fair, which is open to NCC students and the community at large will feature about 25 area employers showcasing opportunities in the Arts & Science, and Business & Health fields during the Wednesday session.

The 2019 Northwest Iowa Community College, KIWA Radio and Iowa Workforce Development Job Fair runs from 10:30 to 1:30 each day.
