Good Ole Summertime Is This Weekend In Sibley

Sibley, Iowa — The summer festivals continue. Sibley’s, called “Good Ole Summertime,” is this Friday through Sunday.

According to the Sibley Chamber of Commerce, there is no shortage of fun activities planned for all ages.

On Friday night, there will be a family fun night of baseball, followed by a fireworks show.

The big day is Saturday. Just an example of some of the activities — a parade at 10:30 and an art & craft vendor show starts at 11. The Sibley Library is sponsoring a Big Bang Bubble Show at noon. The car show runs from noon to 4 on Ninth Street. There’s a kids pedal pull and firetruck rides.

There’s an Amazing Summer Olympic Race sponsored by the McCallum Museum in Central Park. This year’s Party by the Pit features the POPROCKS Band.

And among the activities on Sunday is the Sibley Fire & Rescue Pancake Feed at the Fire Hall.

There are many other activities too numerous to mention.
