Hartley, Iowa — The City of Hartley has issued a temporary boil order.
If you are a user of Hartley water, be advised that your water needs to be boiled for at least one minute before use if you are using it for drinking or cooking.
Of course, you can also use bottled water for these uses.
We tried to find out the reason behind the boil order, but Hartley officials were unavailable for comment.
