Hospers, Iowa — It’s almost time for the next summer celebration. Hospers will host their “Hospers Summer Celebration” this weekend.
Organizers tell us everyone is invited. They say festivities will include the Baby Back Rib & Pork Loin Smoke Off, a car show, food trucks, inflatables, a vendor fair, BINGO, a sand volleyball tournament, a horseshoe tournament, a bean bag tournament, kids pedal pulls, and much more.
The weekend will kickoff with the Community Car Cruise Friday night followed by a free will donation supper hosted by American State Bank. Proceeds from the supper will go toward the new fire and rescue station.
The final event on Saturday will be a concert at the South Side Park Ball Diamond by 90’s country cover band, “Whiskey Rich,” from 7-11 p.m. You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
