Rock Rapids, Iowa — A Hills, Minnesota man has been arrested after a crash near Doon.
Monday’s arrest stems from an incident that happened last week. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of 240th Street and Ibex Avenue, about six miles northeast of Doon. They report that 37-year-old Sherry Baatz of Inwood was driving a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix, which was struck by a 8520 John Deere tractor, driven by 45-year-old Bradley Baatz of Hills, MN.
The Pontiac sustained approximately $4,800 in damages. No injuries were reported.
The Sheriff’s Office says the cause appears to have been due to a domestic incident.
Then on Monday, May 4th 2015, deputies arrested Bradley Baatz on a warrant for Domestic Abuse Assault for the incident that occurred on April 27th, 2015. Baatz was arrested at the Lyon County Courthouse and was transported to the Lyon County Jail.
