Rock Rapids, Iowa — A Rock Rapids chiropractor who has been serving as the co-chair of the Iowa Republican Party has decided not to run for the position again.
Dr. Cody Hoefert says he decided the time was right.
Hoefert says he’s grateful for all the support.
Hoefert has served since June 2014 as the co-chair of the Iowa Republican Party. A replacement will be chosen at the board meeting in January. Hoefert is a doctor of chiropractic and operates a clinic in Rock Rapids, where he also serves on the city council.
