It’s the start of the holiday break for kids all over, and as a parent, you’re already hearing two words that every parent dreads… “I’m bored.”
Not sure what to do with the kiddos this coming week? Well, if you live in the Sheldon area, why not bring them to the Sheldon Public Library? The library hosts many different events throughout the year to engage children of all ages and get them thinking.
This week they’re offering the opportunity to kick back and relax. On Wednesday, December 26th at 10:30 am there will be a short holiday classic shown. Bring the kids back Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 pm for a full-length feature, and on Thursday, December 27th, the library will be showing another holiday movie at 1:00 pm.
Free popcorn will be served during each movie, and the titles can be found by visiting the Sheldon Public Library’s website at www.sheldon.lib.ia.us. They do ask that children under the age of 8 be accompanied by a caregiver. If you would more information on this, or any other activity at the Sheldon Public Library, you can contact them at 712-324-2442
