Sheldon, Iowa – Arrangements are being finalized for a fundraiser to be held Saturday at the Sheldon Community Services Center, with proceeds going to Steve Holles and his family, of Sheldon, as Steve continues his battle with pancreatic cancer.
Doors will open at 2:00 Saturday afternoon. Cops Against Cancer will be on hand with their barbecue smoker serving smoked meat sandwiches with the trimmings. They’ll have their smoker trailer set up in the Community Building parking lot, with the meal served in the upstairs community rooms at the Community Services Center downtown.
The event will continue throughout the afternoon and early evening, with a raffle, silent auction and live auction, with the proceeds going to the Steve Holles family.
