Holly Jolly Hoopla Set For Friday December 11th

Sheldon, Iowa — A new holiday event makes its debut on Friday December 11th at the Sheldon Crossroads Event Center. Its Holly Jolly Hoopla.

The idea was hatched in January of this year but had to be scaled back somewhat due to COVID-19 guidelines but a lot of activities will still make up the day. Following the Governor’s press conference Thursday it’s important to note social distancing will be strictly adhered to along with the mandatory wearing of masks.

Holly Jolly Hoopla is set to run from for 5:00 – 8:00 at the event center. Sheldon Chamber Director Shantel Oostra told KIWA what will be happening on Friday.

Christmas music from talented local pianists will also be a part of the hoopla. 

COVID-19 guidelines will be in place for the event. That includes masks and strict social distancing.

Events will be taking place both indoors and outdoors so Holly Jolly Hoopla goers are reminded to dress appropriately. The first annual event is scheduled for Friday December 11th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Sheldon Crossroads Pavilion Event Center in Sheldon.
