Hope Haven To Host Fishing Tournament Fundraiser On Missouri River

Rock Valley, Iowa — If you are an avid angler, want to show your family a good time fishing, or if you’d just like to help out Hope Haven, there is an event coming up in which you might be interested.

The 23rd Annual Hope Haven Fishing Benefit will be hosted on Friday, June 4th at Lake Francis Case, Pickstown, SD. Organizers tell us this is a family-friendly fundraising event, and they invite you to bring your children and enjoy a day of fishing together.

They say the entry fee of $60 includes eligibility for weigh-in prizes, a pork loin supper, and an entry gift – and children under 16 are free.

Hope haven officials have also expanded the chances to win with men’s, women’s, and kids’ prize categories.

Brooke Lowin is Hope Haven’s Marketing Manager. She tells us where the funds go.

The weigh-in will take place at the North Point Fish Cleaning Station. If you are interested, you will need to register by Thursday, June 3rd.
