Hope Haven’s Annual Gospel Music Festival Will Begin June 16th

Sioux Center, Iowa — If you’re looking for a family-friendly concert to attend Hope Haven is having its last two-day Annual Gospel Music Festival beginning Friday, June 16th.

Hope Haven’s Manager of Church and Public Relations Rich Koele gives us details about the festival.

Koele says Shari’s Kitchen, from Rock Rapids, will have a food truck at the park. He lists some of the artists who will be there.

Koele says after 27 years of having the Annual Gospel Music Festival, this will be the last one as attendance has gone down. The event is free to attend, though they will have a free will donation a couple of times each day. Koele says any money raised will benefit Hope Haven directly. Since 2000, when Hope Haven began to keep track of money raised, this event has raised over 125 thousand dollars.

Hope Haven’s last Annual Gospel Music Festival will be June 16th and 17th at 12:30 p.m. each day at Central Park in Sioux Center.
