Hy-Vee Recalls Products Due to Potential Contamination

West Des Moines, Iowa — Hy-Vee is voluntarily recalling products due to the potential for contamination by salmonella.

The recalled products include two varieties of Hy-Vee Cream Cheese Spread and their bulk-packaged Cookies & Cream Mix.

The products are manufactured at different third-party facilities around the Midwest and are sold under Hy-Vee’s private label and bulk packaging programs. The manufacturers notified Hy-Vee of the potential issue, and the company is recalling the products out of an abundance of caution. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of any of these products.
