Inwood Fourth Activities Start Wednesday, June 27th

Inwood, Iowa — It’s almost time for Independence Day in the United States. Every year the folks in Inwood have a special celebration.

This year the celebrating gets underway early on Wednesday night, June 27th, with a car show, says Al Hassebroek, who’s the president of Inwood’s Fourth of July committee.

He says the festivities continue on the day before Independence Day — July 3rd.

He says they’ve also moved the tractor pull from the afternoon on Independence Day, to the previous evening, Tuesday the 3rd.

The activities on the fourth start with breakfast, says Hassebroek.

He says there’s more fun to be had in the evening.

Also, this coming Sunday evening — July 1st — they’ll have a community worship service in the park at 6:30 p.m.
