Rock Rapids, Iowa — An Inwood woman has been arrested on a felony warrant for criminal mischief after being accused of slinging sugar.
According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, their deputies arrested 46-year-old Treva Donaldson of Inwood on Thursday morning, March 1, 2018 on a warrant for criminal mischief 2nd degree, a class D felony.
They tell us that the warrant stems from an incident earlier in February in which Donaldson is alleged to have entered a rural Inwood residence and caused damage exceeding $1,000.
Court records indicate that the detective investigating the case says that on February 10th, Donaldson is accused of entering a home that didn’t belong to her, taking powdered sugar from the cupboard, and slinging it throughout the house, “causing a very big mess.”
If she’s convicted of a class D felony, Iowa code states that Donaldson could face five years in prison and a fine of between $750 and $7500.
