Iowa Unemployment Rate Drops

Statewide Iowa — The state unemployment rate dropped once again in February.

The February rate fell to three-point-five percent from the three-point-seven percent reported for January.

Iowa Workforce Development says the total number of unemployed Iowans fell by 33-hundred to 59-thousand-400 in February.

The report says the number of working Iowans increased by 91-hundred in February and is up more than 33-thousand compared to last February. The unemployment rate for February one year ago was four-point-four percent.
