Iowa’s COVID-19 Call Center Is Open, Website Is Now Updated In Real Time

Des Moines, Iowa — Governor Kim Reynolds says the state health department is updating its coronavirus website to include more new features Iowans have requested, including case counts that will be updated in real-time, not just once a day. The governor also says a dedicated call center for Test Iowa is now open.

(as said:) “The call center is staffed by nurses who can assist Iowans who have completed an assessment or been tested and have questions about the TestIowa process.”

The governor says of the many Iowans who are getting tested, testing positive is trending down, while testing negative is trending up. She says more than 107-thousand Iowans have now been tested for the virus, that’s one in 29 residents. There are now outbreaks at 37 Iowa long-term care facilities.
