ISU Field Agronomist: Harvest A Little Behind Schedule, But Nearly Complete

Northwest Iowa — This year’s harvest is running a little behind schedule in northwest Iowa, but ISU Field Agronomist Joel DeJong says it’s going well.

He says this year’s crop yields have varied widely.

DeJong says this summer’s spotty rainfall has caused yield variations almost from field to field.

DeJong is a Field Agronomist for Iowa State University Extension, serving O’Brien, Osceola, Lyon, Sioux, Plymouth, Ida, Monona, Cherokee and Woodbury counties.
